Who needs remote support?

First-time sim racers

Just unboxed your wheelbase and don't know where to start. We'll get you driving cleanly in under an hour — drivers, FFB, in-game settings, all sorted.

Hardware upgraders

Switched from belt-drive to direct-drive? Moved from Fanatec to Simagic? We'll handle migration: drivers, firmware, FFB profiles, and tuning every game you race.

Frustrated troubleshooters

Wheel suddenly not detected? Pedals reading wrong? Game CTD'ing? FFB feels dead? We diagnose live with screen sharing on both ends.

Builders adding accessories

Bought a Stream Deck, motion system, light bar, or new bracket from SSG and need help installing it cleanly into your existing rig.

Multi-platform racers

Switching between iRacing, ACC, AMS2, and rF2 every week and tired of re-tuning each time? We'll set up swappable profiles you can change in seconds.

Streamers & content creators

Need clean overlays, telemetry feeds, OBS scenes, and proper audio routing wired into your sim setup. We'll handle the integration end-to-end.

iRacing rookies

Need help with the iRacing membership, downloading content, joining your first session, or understanding the safety rating system. We've been there.

Sim cafés & commercial setups

Running a sim racing arcade or arrival-and-go simulator? We'll dial in identical configs across multiple rigs and lock down the OS/launcher.

Frequently asked

How much does a session cost?

Pricing depends on session length and complexity. Most one-issue sessions are 30 minutes; multi-issue or full first-time setups run 60–90 minutes. Reach out via the contact form and we'll quote exact pricing before you commit.

Do I need to buy products from SimSportGadget to use this service?

No. We help anyone in the sim racing community regardless of where you bought your gear. That said, we know SSG products inside out, so if you're using our brackets, mounts, or stream-deck setups, we'll dial them in faster than anyone else.

What if my issue isn't fixed in one session?

If we can't resolve a primary issue within the booked time, we'll either extend the session at no extra charge or schedule a free follow-up. We don't charge for unresolved problems.

What software do you use to connect?

Your choice — Zoom, Google Meet, Discord screen share, or AnyDesk for full remote control. We'll send a meeting link before the session along with a short prep checklist.

Can you help with hardware that's physically broken?

We can diagnose and confirm the failure, recommend the right replacement part, and walk you through installation once it arrives. Physical repair (soldering, replacement parts) needs to be handled locally — but we'll guide you through every step.

Do you support beginners or only advanced users?

Especially beginners. Most of our sessions are for first-time sim racers who just want to get a clean baseline so they can focus on driving rather than tweaking. No experience required — we'll meet you wherever you are.

What information should I have ready before the session?

Have your rig powered on, the games you want to dial in installed, and any cables/adapters within reach. We'll send a short prep checklist when you book so the session time goes to fixing things, not setup.

What if I'm in a different timezone?

We have flexible scheduling — including evenings and weekends. Tell us your timezone when you book and we'll find a slot that works.

Ready to get unstuck?

Tell us what you're working with — we usually respond the same day.
